This week holds so much for me artistically and personally. Not only am I still grieving the loss of my cousin, Jewel Ford, I’m also releasing the first music video I directed. This music video is impregnated with my new focused artistic vision. It embodies the creative future that, I know without a shadow of a doubt, that God has planned for me. On the day the music video drops, I’ll be standing tall on a stage at Valparaiso University in Indiana playing Martin Luther King Jr. in Katori Hall’s masterpiece called The Mountaintop. I’m blessed by having some family come out and support as well. I’ll carry Jewel with me on that stage in a special way. Pray for my heart and the whole creative team behind this production.
